Wishlist Alerts ("the App", "we", "us") is a Wix app that lets shoppers on a merchant's store save products to a wishlist, share it, and receive back-in-stock and price-drop email alerts they asked for. This policy explains what data the App handles, why, and what your choices are. We keep it short because we collect very little.

What we collect, and why

From store owners (merchants): the technical identifiers Wix provides when you install the App (an app instance ID for your site), your chosen plan, and your widget settings (accent color, button position). We do not collect merchant names, email addresses, or payment details — all billing is handled by Wix.

From shoppers on a merchant's store:

• A randomly generated, anonymous identifier stored in the shopper's own browser (localStorage), used to remember whose wishlist is whose. It is not linked to a name or account.
• The products a shopper saves to their wishlist (product name, price, image, and link).
• An email address — only if the shopper types it in and asks for alerts. It is used solely to send the back-in-stock and price-drop notifications that the shopper requested for their own saved items.

Our hosting provider keeps standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP addresses of requests) for security and debugging, as virtually all web services do.

What we never do

• We never sell or rent personal data. To anyone. Ever.
• We never send marketing emails — only the specific alerts a shopper opted into, each of which contains a one-click unsubscribe link.
• We never track shoppers across different websites, use advertising cookies, or build profiles.
• We never see or store payment card details.

Where data lives

Data is processed by a small number of service providers, solely so the App can function: Wix (the platform the App runs on), Render (application hosting, United States; data encrypted in transit via TLS and at rest on encrypted disks), and Resend (delivery of the alert emails shoppers request).

Your choices and rights

• Shoppers: every alert email contains an unsubscribe link that immediately stops all future alerts. You can also remove items from your wishlist at any time; removing an item stops alerts about it.
• Merchants: uninstalling the App deactivates your site in our system and stops all processing and alert sending for it.
• Anyone may request access to, or deletion of, their data — contact us via the support details on our Wix App Market listing and we will respond promptly.

Retention

Wishlist data is kept while the App remains installed on the relevant store so that shoppers' lists keep working. When a shopper unsubscribes, their email is removed immediately. Deletion requests are honored for all associated data.

Children

The App is a tool for online stores and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be noted in the App's release notes.
